We are often asked: “what will grow in a ZipGrow Tower?”, and it is almost easier to counter with “what won’t?”. A significant amount of what the R&D growing team here at ZipGrow does is test what species or cultivars can be grown vertically. This is our favorite kind of research to conduct and has helped us develop methods for growing unique vertical crops such as Aloe vera, Echinacea, Eggplants, Rhubarb, and Cauliflower! Though these are not always economically feasible to grow indoors, they pair well with our greenhouse systems.
