Shipping: We offer FREE shipping on our Education Rack, ZipGarden and Farm Wall to the continental US and Canada. Shipping outside of these regions or for our hydroponic labs are based on customer's location.
Training: Training packages are available both on-site and virtually. Discuss with our representatives what type of training you'd like, and we can prepare a quote.
Ongoing Consumables: ZipGrow offers pre-measured or bulk consumables. System-dependent, yearly consumables will cost between $100-$500. Consumables don't need to be purchased through ZipGrow; however, we have options available for all systems.

Upper Canada District School Board
Since 2022, the Upper Canada District School Board (UCDSB) has invested in over 80 ZipGrow systems for classrooms across its school board. Our systems are part of a larger board-wide initiative under their Real-World Learning Program. The goal of this program is to bring real-world skills to students across UCDSB.
Now, every year, 1000s of students across UCDSB get to participate in year-round growing, which otherwise wouldn’t be possible without a system like ours. Our systems are used in elementary classrooms, culinary programs and agriculture classes across the board.

Ongoing Support: Once your units arrive, we're available to help all educators get their systems up and running. Training packages are available for in person or virtual training.
Our ZipGarden unit comes 90% assembled, and can be set up within 10 minutes of receiving your system. Our Education Racks & Farm Wall do need assembly; these units come with manuals and instructional videos. These units should be up and running within a couple of hours.
No, your staff should be able to install the unit on your own! If you need additional help, we’re happy to set up a video call to help walk you through the assembly.
Yes! We offer curriculum bundles with all our systems. Our learning platform, Upstart University also offers over 90 hours of video content and more, available to you right away.

Our units all operate with standard outlets and do not require hard plumbing to your existing water supply. Our ZipGarden and Education Rack come with wheels, allowing for easy mobility throughout your facilities.
Systems should be cleaned after every harvest, with surface cleaning done weekly. All towers are removed from the system, allowing for easy and accessible cleaning.
We know safety is the most important thing when considering a system. All parts of our systems are CSA- and/or ESA-approved for electrical safety. If you have additional questions about our system’s safety measures, be sure to contact us for more information.

Our ZipGarden, Education Rack and Farm Walls are kept in stock, and are ready to ship within a week. For custom projects like hydroponic labs, we aim to ship within 90 days of receiving the initial deposit or purchase order.

If available, please provide us with the dimensions of the lab space, and include any additional intended use for the space if applicable. Additionally, please provide us with current electical and water hook ups in the space, and note if there are any pillars or dropped ceilings.
We ship single Farm Walls in boxes through our ground shipping provider. All other units are shipped on pallet(s) depending on the size of the order. If known, please let us know how your school typically receives large shipments, and whether your school has a loading dock on site.

About Us
Since 2010, ZipGrow has been a leader in hydroponic manufacturing and education. The ZipGrow Tower was created by Dr. Nate Storey in a greenhouse at the University of Wyoming and helped solve an ongoing issue in greenhouses: the ability to grow only on one level.
From there, ZipGrow went on to create the Farm Wall and the ZipFarm, both being revolutionary for their uses. The Farm Wall allowed home growers to take control of their own food security, while the ZipFarm became one of the first commercial small to medium-sized systems to enable new farmers to enter a space traditionally unavailable to them.
Later came the ZipPod, Education Rack & ZipGarden to continue to expand our reach to schools, social wellness projects, and architectural masterpieces. To date, ZipGrow has deployed systems to over 30 countries and shipped 1000s of units to customers like you.
