As part of our application to the HomeGrown Innovation Challenge and in partnership with the Kemptville Campus Education and Community Center Greenhouses, ZipGrow is working to break away from leafy greens and into fruiting crops. We have been successfully growing Strawberries in our system for 10 years now and are working towards growing Blueberries and Raspberries as well. Some of the specific challenges include sufficient lighting both indoors and out of season in the greenhouse, as well as chilling the water to a sufficient level.
