Term:
The #BestBudZipGrow contest begins Friday March 3, 2023, and ends Friday May 12, 2023 at 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest .
Who may enter:
Open to hydroponic growers that reside in Canada (excluding residents of Quebec) and Continental United States. Individuals affiliated with the ZipGrow, including employees,interns, volunteers and their immediate families (children, parents, siblings and spouses) and others living in their households are not eligible for any prize. ZipGrow will determine winners’ eligibility in its sole discretion.
What to enter:
One single image of a flowering plant in a hydroponic/aquaponic system. The photograph can be in the format of a jpg or png taken on any device. The photograph must have been taken by the entrant since Jan 1, 2019.
By participating, the contestant certifies that he/she is the sole creator and copyright owner of the submitted photograph and the developer of the hydroponic system. Photographs may contain an image of the entrant, however it will be judged based on the flower alone.
One entry per person. By submitting an entry to the website or via social media you agree that ZipGrow can share the image on their website, social media and newsletter.
How to enter:
Submit to Instagram or Facebook using the hashtag #BestBudZipGrow
OR
Complete the contest form and submit ONE photograph in the requested format.
In order to be displayed without being stretched or distorted, photographs must be submitted in .jpeg, .jpg or .gif format, no larger than 10 MB
Judging:
Our team of growers at ZipGrow will be judging this contest.
Photo entries will be judged based on the health of the plant and image must show the flower growing in a hydroponic system*.
The two runner up prizes will be drawn at random from all eligible entries.
*The hydroponic system can be any form of hydroponics or Aquaponics and does not have to be a ZipGrow Tower.
ZipGrow will select a winner by May 19, 2022, who will be notified and their winning entry will appear on social channels and newsletter on June 2nd.
ZipGrow will notify winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry. If the entry is submitted by Facebook or Instagram the winner will be notified through direct message. Should we not hear from the winner within five business days, a new winner will be selected.
Advertising or self promotion will not be accepted.

Entrants are solely responsible for their entries. Entrants may not submit materials that introduce any software viruses, worms or other programs designed to damage software, hardware or telecommunications equipment or are off-topic, partisan-political, contain advertising, nudity, personal attacks or expletives, or is otherwise abusive, threatening, unlawful, harassing, discriminatory, libelous, obscene, false, sexually explicit, or that infringes on the rights of any third party.
The contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. ZipGrow reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify these rules at its discretion. In the event of a dispute regarding the winners, ZipGrow reserves the right to award or not award the prizes in its sole discretion. Zipgrow Inc. reserves the right to disqualify any entrant whose entry or conduct appears in any way to: inhibit the enjoyment of others; tamper with the competition; violate these rules or other applicable law or regulation; infringe on the rights of third parties; or act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Decisions of ZipGrow are final and binding.
